Light Box For Macro Photography

Last week I blogged about my photography setup and how this has helped my photos. There was an overwhelming response to the information. This inspired me to try to create a light box that works as well as my Professional one. So last Friday I found a box and began writing a DIY tutorial on creating the light box.

Since I already have a light box of my own, I donated the box to Katie of Kaleidoscope Garden on Etsy. I hope she enjoys it.

So anyway, if you are interested in creating your own light box for Macro Photography, you can find the tutorial here. It is in PDF format and the file size is approximately 2.1 MB (lots of photos).

Enjoy!

Cookie Baked Brownies

I was in the Etsy Forums a little while ago and mentioned the brownies I made over the weekend. Some of my friends were interested in the recipe so here it is.

First thing I should mention is that it is super easy and you can substitute the cookies for any flavor you want.

I started off with a brownie mix, in my case I chose Betty Crocker's® Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix .I mixed the batter as instructed to make cake brownies.

Once the batter was made I poured just under half off the batter into my baking pan. I then layered Keebler® Fudge Shoppe® Cheesecake Middles Dark Chocolate Graham Cookies (these are new in the market) on top of my batter. After I finished layering, I poured the remaining batter on top of my cookies and spread it out to cover all of them.

Finally I baked the brownies at the recommended temperature and time.

That is it. Super Simple!!!

Hope you enjoy!
