Just FYI - there is a reason I keep promoting the Cup Cozies I decided to make. I've been making them for myself and using them at Coffee Shops like Starbucks for some time now. I get compliments and statements like - "How Cute!" They are truly better alternatives to the disposable paper ones offered at the Coffee Shops - the people who work there even agree with me - last Saturday I was explaining to the person who got me my Green Tea at Starbucks how to make them because she crochets and she hates the paper ones - even told her the local places to get the yarn at! For those who buy handmade, I decided to make a bunch and probably more to sell on Etsy - mine are double thick cotton that have a little bit of stretch and fit different cups!
