More Birds

I was going to write about the events of my weekend today, however I realized that I had no photos to help you see what I had done. So instead I am going to share some more photos of the birds that have been visiting my back porch.

If you guys are interested in birds or bird feeding, check out this great program by Cornell University: Project Feederwatch. I have participated in this program in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Have you heard about the twitter tree? We are tweeting our items into your hearts. Come visit today's twitter tree at Audrey's Country Crafts. And be sure to stop back tomorrow, when I will be hosting the twitter tree.

  1. Aw, what lovely little birdies! I have these fabulous pine trees outside my apartment balcony and the birds sometimes fly over to the balcony and hop around a bit, which is one of my absolute favorite things :)

  3. Thanks Christie,

I took those while I was stuck at home last week due to an ice storm. Where I live, you stay home in ice or snow. It is nice.

  4. Beautiful photos! Cardinals are my favorite birds and sometimes I'm lucky enough to see them in my yard!

  5. I love the bird pics, the red bird is gorgeous, I have not see that kind of bird here, is that a cardinal? I am starting to feed birds, I just added water to the area to attract more, I have a humming bird feeder also, never was a bird watcher but since we have an area just outside my window I am on the computer on I love it now. I will go to that "project feeder" watch you recommend.
Have a nice day and I will be over to twitter at your place tomorrow

  8. Sweety,

Yes the solid red bird is a northern cardinal.

  9. Loved your photos! We don't get many backyard birds here unfortunately, but I love visiting my inlaws because I think they're single-handedly boosting the songbird population in their yard. :) Those cardinals are my favourite feeder birds.
