OK so I tried to tweet the first one of Aprils and got a big red error on HootSuite saying it looks like I was trying to do something automated and malicious

ReplyDeleteTwitter gave me the same warning even after rearranging the wording on your first one April so I couldn't post it :( I was able to do the second.
I only scheduled once but will be back after work I am a little nervous about doing it more and missed the last twitter tree so I feel a bit out of the loop for what everyone else is experiencing

Hi Colleen - I used the first link April listed - http://ow.ly/IrIB30jccZS and it went right to the link for the earrings. I didn't try the 2nd link which was listed at the end of the tweet - didn't want to take the chance!

ReplyDeleteI read somewhere some time ago that Twitter generally frowns on two links in a post. I have usually left the last one off in tweets w/ two - sorry April! Maybe Twitter is cracking down on those, too?

DeleteWho knows with social media sites these days??? I recently had trouble with G+. Evidently they changed their rules about shortening links in a post and sent out thousands of "spamming" warning notices. Did they let us know they had changed the policy about shortened links ahead of time? No! Found out about the solution to the problem on an online forum I stumbled on. Always changes . . . and many not for the best.
