ReplyDeleteI am just doing the minimum right now. Terry and I lost our niece this week to police violence so we are really having a hard time dealing with her death. I try not to do drama or spread drama but I ask that people reserve holding judgement. The news tends to normalize how officers will use lethal means to "diffuse" situations. She was very tiny 80 pounds at best. She was kind and caring. She had a son who depended on her and was one of the few people who had made an effort to visit with my daughter. She is really missed and our hearts are so broken. Worse we get to hear how they are justifying her killing. Sorry but we could really use some prayers.
