    Roxanne, I'm beginning to bond with the new computer. Because of a glitch in the original set up, I really didn't start using it much until Monday - when I was about ready to throw it out the window - LOL! I HATE the planned obsolescence of electronics. Have had to go out and buy new "things", like card readers (because the one for my camera is "too old" and the interface doesn't work anymore). Wouldn't need a card reader except the download for my camera is no longer available because it is "old". Geesh . . . And I'm not fond windows 8 but I'll get used to it eventually (: At least I don't have to worry about it blue screening and turning itself off and on which is a REAL bonus!!

    Just got home and will catch up - tweetes - pinning.

    Catherine, I hear your pain. My computer has Vista, Windows. Like you say, hate it that your equipment is toooo old for the new computer programs or your software in not compatible. ITS a CONSPIRACY - I'm sure.
    That's why I'll keep my old one as long as possible.... Cost lots to up grade everything.
    Who would think you would have to buy a new card reader....oh well, they have us, that's for sure.
    I was so smart got a notebook and has Window 8 last September and I don't understand it so haven't used it much at all. It was so neat in the store, and not even USED it. Waste of $$$. Need to use it and learn, but now I understand Windows 9 or 10 is coming out and you know what means - obsolete again!

    Out weather is beautiful as well. SO grateful because so many of you are having it so bad.

    Roxanne, that's why I hung onto the old dinosaur for so long. Everything was compatible. Guess I didn't realize how everything would NOT be compatible with the new computer. I AM glad to be able to listen to my Pandora station now and to be able to watch videos, both of which froze up the old one. Give and take . . . (:
