ReplyDeleteI know Jacki has brought this up several times about people not tweeting items and I started getting curious. I'm not talking about RTing on Roundteam or whatever you might use - am talking about doing or scheduling an actual tweet. Have been doing an informal tracking of tweets for the last week or so on Hootsuite. Kind of amazing how some do NOT tweet at all (although I see they have no problem tweeting their own items continuously) and some tweet each item 7-8 times. Most do one or two tweets for each item and don't do any on the second day. Just sayin' . . .
Hope people don't get mad at me for bringing this up, but the Twitter Tree is supposed to be a team effort and not tweeting is not a team effort.
Tweeted, scheduled for today and tomorrow and pinned.
ReplyDeleteI agree, IF I can't tweet - I don't post and its only fair to schedule and tweet all. It benefits ALL.
ReplyDeleteTo here.
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie for FB post. HUGS, Its a rough day for me.
Easy to see who tweets, just check out the @ whoever and its shows the activity.
ReplyDeleteTweeted and scheduled all :) I dont post either unless I can do it all :)
ReplyDeleteI don't do the second day. I do tweet everything I see twice the first day. I know there have been instances where I will miss something during the day, and sometimes, I remember to check it in the evening. I do pick those tweets up for that same day. Since they limited roundtree, I only have one RT set on it now. (I cannot remember what it is though ... ) I don't use the @saracom on my tweets - I use my full shop name because of other tracking I do.
ReplyDeleteRoxanne - hug back atcha!

ReplyDeleteI just read the rest of the posts. First, I don't know what's going on in your life, Roxanne, but I hope you are okay.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I hope I am participating enough. I tweet everything once and then retweet a lot over the following 48 hours, sometimes even a week or two later. I don't have that program for scheduling lots of tweets like a couple of you seem to have. I have retweeted less this past weekend as my track pad was dying. I have a new one now though so I am back in business. Anyhow, I am fairly new to this so please let me know if what I do is not adequate!
Caught up.
ReplyDeleteRoxanne, whatever you're dealing with, I hope you'll go through it with strength. Prayers and hugs for you.
I scheduled the the tweets via Buffer so that I include pictures easily. I do it on an hourly basis rather than bombarding my followers all at once, hoping that it'll be more effective that way.
I use Hootsuite to schedule and usually schedule in 10-20 minute intervals with some down time thrown in. Some in the morning, some in the afternoon and some in the evening and some very late for the European followers. As Nat said, I don't like to bombard my followers - would rather spread it out. And I usually tweet/schedule each item at least 4 times over 2 days, sometimes more and sometimes less (or not at all if someone is not tweeting).
ReplyDeletecaught up
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. Isn't the requirement to tweet everyone's items once? And then anything beyond that is icing on the cake?
ReplyDeleteI like icing (:
ReplyDeleteI know you do, Catherine! And I try to re-ice as much as I can. :)
